IT is sorted ready for a day at Exdown in Kent tomorrow. The new CDI is working well. Started second kick after the rebuild, and first kick since.

Nice one Tony, might be a bit of a godsend being out. It is pissing down down here in Vic so can only assume it will be treacherous out there.

Maybe all Vic It riders can look into this event. ;D

Haha, yeah as a 13yr old I ended up in hospital riding my IT175 in shorts, singlet and gum boots. I was wearing a helmet though. I still have the scars and the bike 😂

No
I used 3M caliper paint and baked in the BBQ  :P
Looks legit and has held up well. (for a rider)

Cheers

Alas, a fairy story was not to be.
I made the first loop in ample time and had a blast on the special test. Loop 2 was disastrous. I lost all gears after negotiating a steep clay hill decorated with a couple of other competitors.
After some fiddling I managed to engage 2nd and managed another 30km before the old girl gave up the ghost.
Full credit to the A3VE recovery team, they had me out in about 2 hours after I called and special thanks to the boys from Yarram club who helped push the bike out of the single track.

I had a blast and there's always next year.
cheers Tony

The conditions were treacherous in spots, however the IT stayed upright and tractored through the snottiest terrain

After many years the 400 is complete and made it to the Australian 3 day vintage enduro in V2 class (pre 80).

Passed scrutineering and sound check.
It required a working headlight, horn, tail and brakelight.

Does anyone have the colour code for the silver paint on a 92 WR250Z?

Cheers,
Steve.
