glad you guys awnserd me.and yer it is a big shot but us kiwis are trick.I have made my one gudgon pins befour and that lasted well over a year and still going strong.I can get the 400 topend for 30$ so may be an idear.also about the 490s and other IT s compered to the 250.i no that engines swap and meny other parts but are the engine internals still the same or are that biger than the it250s? :'(

the crank is a larger diameter and the rod is longer... a 465 crank wont fit inside 250 cases... would be well and truely outside.. same too with the barrel by the time the cases are opened out to accept the barrel there will only be fresh air left.. a 400 to 250 DT would be the same thing.
