IT200 Magazine Articles
« on: September 17, 2008, 05:56:35 PM »
The following articles were found at http://www.simnet.is/skulitho, but be warned that the sites pages contain hundreds of indexed images, that will tax broadband connections and the speed of your computer. I am posting the article images here to make it easier.

This article is from Dirt Rider magazine, June 1985. It covers the 1985 200cc enduro shootout, where the IT unfortunately finishes second to the Kawasaki KDX. It is strange though, that when reading through the article it leads you to believe the IT is superior in many ways to the KDX.

This article is from Dirt Bike magazine, August 1986. It covers the last of the fine IT line, the 1986 IT200S. Yamaha would not produce another 2-stroke enduro bike until the YZ250WR, in 1989.

He has some great stuff on that site, but my computer regularly crashes when I visit. Computer 8 years old and running Windows 98 !!!!

I have started downloading magazine tests, brochure copies, and general info lately, as I have experienced 2 bike related sites that have closed recently. The info lost forever !
