bring it on, V8 supercars have progressively gotten more and more 1 sided and boring over the past 5 years. It needs a revamp and needs the added input of other marques for it to survive. Personally i think it should go back to a super tourer format with multiple manufacturers involved.

Is there 2 horses? I thought only 1 raced, the other will always be an also run...Holden makes the rules, despite using Ford components and they are both using fibreglass bodywork. It may as well be Aussie NASCAR now.. Boring as batsh_t at times. BRING BACK MULTI CLASS RACING!

Cool...............Now the two dumbar$e manufacturers, and their antiquated technology, and there total lack of commitment to the sport.............

( Ford, and to a slightly lesser extent Holden..... "Up yours DJR and Vodaphone" said  Ford........and Only the Walkinshaw Dunnies did any good........Until...... notice how the flying pigs romp it in no matter what manufacturer they use???)

................Will look as stupid, and lose as much, as they deserve to.......................Kinda like what happened to Honda when they killed off 500cc GP bikes...........and then let Rossi go (Wanted too much money they reckoned Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy)

2012 is when it will all come together Kato, possibly sooner as a trial if enough pressure is put on the V8 supercar hierarchy. I reckon there is a good chance you'll also get Japanese manufacturers wanting in but not nescessarily factory backed, ie Nissan, Honda and Mazda who all have suitable engines availabale to use.

I say bring it on.

One manufacturer that should be running here and should have started about 3 or 4 years back is Chrysler.
Would not be real hard to tweak a 300C enough to get it to the start line. You might need a few rule concessions to help get you there a bit easier but it could be done. Im sure chrylser have a 5L motor they can use.

I rekon i would give up a nut to be part of a project like this. Would be awesome.

If the germans come in they will spoil the little format they have going at the moment. No more hollinger gearboxes or 9 inch diffs. The Krauts will bring their own stuff.

Yeah..........they don't use 40 to 50 year old diffs, or Massey-Fergusson gear boxs...................I think they had sequential g/boxs in the DTM about 23 years ago...........V8 Combine Harvesters got them about 2 or 3 years ago............Fekk it's gunna be FUNNY to watch the concessions that Fu#ked On Race Day and Holes Oil leaks Dents Engine noises demand to be able to finish 5 laps behind................Remember a thing called a GTR?? Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

What will the Boguns say? Cheesy Cheesy

Might force technology into this country...............How 'bout an Audi V8 as well..............Huh
