It's OK, I sorted it, removed the pump, split it in two, dismantled it, nyloc nut and bolt through the drive shaft with a couple of o rings, screwed the engine side section back in, job done.

Lean on me!

I opened up the exhaust port, stripped all the oil tank and other crap off, removed the restrictor in the tail pipe, it's a little flyer!

I'm a lil late on this...haven't had a problem with the oil pump yet.  Usually, these things are pretty reliable.  Hope it doesn't cause any problems in the future.  Now, that crap carburetor is another story. :-X

I got the exhaust restrictor taken out of my boys 80 and damn it makes it a huuuuuge difference. His bike now easily keeps up with his mates TT90. I'm almost certain the konking out has been isolated to a dud coil as opposed to the oil pump. The oil resevoir has definately been going down so I don't think it was that. Going to take the coil off and have it tested in the next week or so.
Has anyone had the adapter put in to theirs to raise the ride height? I'm thinking of doing that for when he gets a bit bigger.

I may be doing that this summer.  He's "high centered" the thing a couple times over some obstacles.  It does throw the geometry off toward the front, though.

as if one of my boys turning his bike into a submarine today wasn't bad enough, my other son on his PW80 had his bike konk out 5 times today. It seems to only happen when it's wet. Has anyone else with a PW experienced this at all? I changed the plug but it seems like it was only a band aid fix as it happened again a half hour later after going through a few puddles.
Help!!!!

The front wheel just spews all the crap straight onto the plug, get an NGK cap and wd40 all the electrics.
