What's the go with the small wheels?
I have road tyres on my it490 and don't see why change from standard rims? After all it is a 83 model 2 stroke. It's not like I am going to race it at Lakeside. Seriously go buy a RZ, RD. RG road bike.
And the reason I have road tyres on it is so I can't go bush and have a mid life crisis and bust myself up.

I have all 3... Wink

but seriously I don't want to say how much those rims cost me as it will make a lot of people really upset with me... let's just say if I had it in my wallet to pay for them and bolt off with them... it wasn't very much....

one set's for the 'garage queen' 465.. the spare bike that will ultimately get all of the trick stuff I have collected.. there's a set of late 80's USD WP forks with brembo brakes... they're not going on Frankenstein though.. well... I won't be doing anything that isn't reversable to fit these wheels to either of my 465's depending on the mood at the time.

I've always liked the look of a good motard, I remember reading magazines in highschool when they really took off in the early 90's back then they were just rolling on sportsbike wheels big brakes and the guards were cut down.. a long way from what they are now I believe... I want to build an 'oldschool' motard for want of a better term, most likely even still running a drum brake on the rear. I'm unable to ride on the road again so rego is out of the question, but I think the height (and most likely weight) reduction would make the 465 a real treat to throw around even in the scrub.

Cheers!
