size wise, they're pretty much the same as the IT125.  A lot of the chassis parts swap straight over (older models, that is...like '78/'79).  I put '82 YZ100 forks on my IT125 using a '78 IT175 triple (both have 36mm forks)...that way I could retain the IT front wheel with speedo/odo drive.  Came out pretty good, as I gained about 2-2.5" of travel.  Springs are soft, though.

I sold my 83 YZ100 6 months ago for $1600 on ebay, the bloke drove 5 hrs to come pick it up and had it for sale again not long ago...

Was a good bike...

Sorry to drag up and very old thread now.
But i had no idea these old bikes fetched a dollar these days.

The YZ100K was my very first dirt bike.... Bought for $450, gaves years of fun, stripped it down to the frame, painted the frame red (like a YZ100J) , re assembled and sold it for $750

To this day, some 28 years later, it has been the best value for money and return on any bike i have owned.

I'd love to find one now to restore and keep in the workshop
