IT200 Immaculate
« on: October 31, 2008, 08:49:08 PM »
This bike was on EBay earlier this year in the USA. Looks like it came straight off the showroom floor. I had to keep the photos because the bike was a work of art. Thought you fellow ITers would appreciate the work that must have gone into this bike. There was a total of 21 photos the guy had posted on EBay with this bike and these are just some of them. I can't remember us getting drum brake frontend and siver rims here in OZ on the 200's but probably wrong. :P

Past: CB250N, GSX400E, VFR750R, YZ125K
Current: IT250K (used rarley) + IT250K (future project).

I believe it's a 1985 model as the 1986 IT200S was the only model that came with a disc front end. Either that guy has spent a shitload of money & time restoring it or that bike has never seen dirt. Either way it is a very very sweet bike.

To the owner - Well Done!!!!

Why doesnt mine look like that!?!?!

84 and 85 had drum fronts (like mine.)

I'm going to look into what other bikes with disk brake front ends have same diameter forks I can slide into the tripples  :)

I remember this bike on ebay. It is a work of art but in his add he stated that this bike was 95% NOS parts. All of us could have a bike like this if we had the money and availability of parts. 8)
No rush, there's plenty of time. Do it next week, what could have been done today.
