Any ideas/theory's as to why they dropped the compression ratio so much on the WR200? The 250Z above is 9.0-10.4, and an IT200 according to this spec: http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/yamaha/yamaha_it200%2090.htm is 8.4.

Why 6.3:1 for the 200? Just curious  ???

I'd say they probably had a blower on it but took it off at the last minute and added it as a "go fast optional extra"  ;D

Anyone know where to find the parts breakdown for the 1997 Australian wr200 bike. Or a good dealer to buy parts from for this year of bike.

I like these bikes BUT I have never seen a road registered WR200...

If you know where one is - hook it up!
