YZ400D long term project

I have a YZ400D long term project. (Boxes of bits).
It would originally have looked like this:
Vinduro Penrite Team
1980 IT125G, 1979 IT175F, 1984 IT200L, 1977 IT250D and IT400D

    I like the way the seat is 50mm higher than the rear of the fuel tank on those early YZ's !!!

LOL, I guess it would allow you to scratch an itch down in the lower region during your moto? Remember how uncomfortable those old riding leathers could be?!?  :-\

LOL, prototype version of the safety seat rejected by Yamaha.

I also like the way that the throttle cable is just begging to get snagged by something.  That could be interesting on a 400 ;D
