Aussie Plastics
« on: May 13, 2019, 12:16:51 PM »
Hi All. Saw a post on facesook about some plastics which are injection moulded and seem to be cheaper then DC. Mainly seems to be YZ stuff, but he has a bit of gear based on his feebay shop.

I have not bought anything from him, so YMMV.

Dan, Dan , Dan. Surely you know by now that you need to suffix your statement with "dont ask me how I know".

Another good site though, thanks. If only they could make stuff in Sky Blue. The site I posted suggests it is Aussie made, so might not be the same parts.

I have bought quite a few plastics from Scott. They look fantastic, as good as NOS.
But I did have one explode on me during a crash. It was a pre-production one though.
I was very lucky to get some in IT blue when he had them in the early days.
I snapped up a tank too for the YZ250D that I am building.

Any chance he might do some more in IT Sky Blue?

I messaged them a little while back and in reply they stated rather bluntly that they had no intention of expanding the range.

Cheers,

He spent a lot of money getting the guards made and then got screwed by the Chinese.
He will never break even and will not do it again.
So for the tanks he got them made in Australia.

I did politely suggest that there was a World shortage of IT250H/J, IT465H/J tanks, and this was what the blunt reply relates to.

I'm not bothered, I was just trying to 'promote the cause' and help make him/them some money.

Cheers,

Dave R.
