a bit of a chore to fit, the join isn't at the same spot as the factory join so you'll have two welds close to each other. a chore because you need to have it all fitted up to the bike to locate it all.

for a DT175 I'd probably try and find a good pipe. I'd have one if you can't find one.

Welcome to the forum!

any pics of your bike?

Thanks mate! I'm trying to source a decent exhaust for this barn find($300) as this one has been bashed by the farmers and pretty rusty so I don't think it's really repairable. I've spent two weeks cleaning&scourcing parts. It arrived without a muffler, chain & sprockets, brake shoes, rusty tank and broken wires. I've sourced a good tank&muffler and various new parts. The plastics came off a guy on gumtree near Darwin and they are very good copies, think I paid $100 for side panels, tail piece, headlight surround. I've got some Dunlop's D605's coming and a few new bits from Yamaha. I'll try to post some photos, but my phone doesn't like it.

That looks like a Musket Muffler piece.

I bought one direct from the manufacturer in New Zealand about five years ago and from memory paid under $100 delivered to Australia.

And as Les said, had to fit it up on the bike and tack it then weld it properly, but I was very happy with the result.

Look at the seller too. Location Finley NSW, occupation Rice Farmer. Be wary.

If it is a Musket part, you can buy direct from them too.

I've got a pipe here that's had a small repair to the front, it's definitely useable and tidy just not the definition of "perfect" I'm only not going to use it myself because I have naughty plans for the bike it's off. I'd probably have a better one but I've not looked in the shed it's in for a while lol.

I can do that first pipe cheaper with freight than the repair section in your link if you wanted to go that way.

yeah avoid. that's the word going around about that seller, cheaper to get it direct from the manufacturer. and you won't get the dickabout while you wait for him to buy it from the manufacturer then send it to you after he gets it.. that's the other word that goes about regarding him.
