Why does my -81 IT465 shoot in exhaust?
« on: April 06, 2019, 06:23:47 AM »
So as I hit the kill button the engine shoots in exhaust just before engine stops running? Have had it running 2 times now, happened both times. Ideas? Engine has good compression, starts OK (few kicks), runs ok ish, a bit rich perhaps.

not sure what "engine shoots" means ?

sometimes the engine can run on if the bike has carbon build up, the red hot carbon ignites the incoming fuel, it can cause damage (decoke required). Apologies if wrong end of stick lol.
