Darwin Thumper series

http://www.darwinmotorcycleclub.org/events/2019-holeshot-yamaha-thumper-series/

In the off chance any forum members find themselves in the top end this weekend, come and have a look and say g?day. I?ll be the only IT there, I?ll probably be the only air cooled bike and one of a few 2 stokes. Funny and sad all at once. :-\

That looks like fun. Bit too long a drive for me.

Some good music or audio books and the days will fly past, you might miss the start though.

Well my bike made it onto the Darwin Motorcycle Club Facebook page. I was easy the oldest bike there by at least 20 years. I rode in 2 classes, vets and c grade. In Vets class I managed a dead last and in C grade, I was actually up the front. I ended up not finishing the day due to my head studs coming loose and the engine sounding like an air pump. It was still good fun, hopefully other older bikes might make it out to the next event.

Man you guys have a great off road scene. What little is here is tainted with an uptight atmosphere putting a big dent in the fun. Who wants to adopt an old fat guy? Got my own tools.

You are welcome here, just ride an old bike so I don?t feel like the odd one out. My 200 was the oldest bike by 20 years, out of 150 riders. I had some one say to me, with an 06 YZ ?I?m glad you are here, I felt bad having the oldest bike? 😂
