New project
« on: January 18, 2019, 05:19:16 PM »
Happy New Year

Something a little different has moved into my shed.
A rare find in NZ - down south in Invercargill- a one owner mostly road ridden 1990 TT350.
This beast has done very little work, I will be just spending time cleaning up and detailing mostly. I had an 86 TT250 back in the day. This bike runs well- like new.
Like an IT except white with a 4 stroke motor.
Thanks to Muzz for initially spotting it on Trademe and being first in the queue to score it for a very good price and organising its trip north.

This bike will remain road based. Take it out on few adventure rides etc

Good times

Cheers
Julia

A 4 what?
Stroke?
What's that all about then?
Has one of those car type engines?
I'm confused...

Take no notice of Wayne. He can't help it!

Nice score. I've seen a few TT350's here in the UK.
They made a much better trail bike than the rather tepid XT350's that we got.

Cheers,
Dave R.

This is true. It's documented in the Geneva Convention.

Yeah yeah it?s a 4-stroke...
It?s unusual to find a bike of this age in this sort of condition here - usually wouldn?t survive this long and be a bucket of bolts by now

The UK not get the TT only XT? Lucky for us here in NZ and also Australia lasted until mid 90s
US only 1986 & 1987

Cheers

My friend has TT350 too. After we managed to find correct jets to that 2-stage TEIKEI carb it has worked pretty well. Pretty similar with IT, just much less powerful. ;D
