IT250K wiring confusion??
« on: December 29, 2018, 09:40:53 AM »
G'day all,

I have got into a bit of confusion with the stator wiring. By the Aussie wiring diagram there is one plug goes into the CDI and two wires (white and yellow/red) that joins up with the main harness however since my motor is a USA model in which it has one plug but only one wiring (yellow/red)? What should i do here? Will the white wire affect the overall operation?

There should be four wires coming from the stator.  The Yellow/red wire is for lighting.  The plug should have three wires, black, brown, and white/red.  I don't know what the "all white" wire would be for.  Can you see what it is connected to?

I think it's the same regardless of whether it's white or white/red....well on my USA version it only has the plug with three wires and yellow/red?? Bit odd isn't it?
