If there is a next one it will be a center port 490 and a YZ 250 two stroke frame... it?s a sickness.. it seems I have to have several projects going at on time. Big block 455 Buick rebuild and re paint & the 83 YZ 490 project I just took on.. I?m a freak

Been riding the WR 465.. I got the TMX carb dialed in. It runs great. vibrates a bit more than I wish but that?s what we get with these engines. I was gonna try a lectron carb but I think I?d be wasting my money unless I had a pipe built to match the engine. Not sure that is worth it either. The  modified CR 250 pipe works but I think it may be restrictive or just doesn?t match the engine quite right. The bike pulls right off the bottom and runs very clean. Starts good cold or hot. Its Hard to judge the power . The bike physically feels like a semi modern 125.. it stops awesome compared to my IT 490.. I would say my 490?s have more grunt but it?s hard to argue with how clean the 465 runs, how light it is and how easy it is to ride. The motor has zero hit. It?s like it just has the same power from the bottom to the top. Kinda reminded me of my sons 2011 KX250F motocross bike. Similar linear power and gearing.. overall I like it. Not disappointed but maybe expected more power.. maybe I was a little unrealistic considering the pipe .. but I?m for now just gonna enjoy it. Not spending any more money on it..
