I have seen ones with compliance plates and all the lights and stuff.

Compliance plates only started in the second half of 1976 so if the bike is older than that it won't have one anyway.

I'm sure you could get club rego no problem if you told them it was a 1975 model and it had all the lights and so on. I guess if you want full rego unless you could prove it had been registered before you might need to get an engineer to give you a certificate of compliance.

Pre compliance plate models should be fully road registerable as long as they have all the working bits and pieces.

Just like a DT1 or DT2 - pre compliance plate, just have to have them roadworthied.

1972 - DT2MX
1975 - MX400B , YZ125C
1976 - IT400C (Standard), IT400C ISDT Replica, 3 x IT400C's to be restored
1977 - IT400D to be restored
1979 - KDX400-A1
1980 - KDX400-A2 parts bike
1983 - YZ125K
1984 - YZ125L
2005 - KTM250EXC
