Farleigh Castle. 1st July 2018. 'King of the Castle'.
« on: July 02, 2018, 02:34:01 AM »

Had a great day watching other people ride round a hot and dusty track that had been over watered in places which made the surface into a quagmire.

Not so many unusual bikes this year. Maybe everyone just wants to ride modern manufactured Maico 490's these days ?

My favourite races were the little 125's. Those poor little pistons !

Cheers,

Dave R.

He got a really bad start and spent the rest of the race with the throttle pinned..... He just didn't back-off ! It was a joy to watch.

Cheers,

Dave.

I saw Al King from Ilminster won the clubmans  2 class on his Maico 490, so as well as shoe repair world champion he’s also pretty quick on a bike!
IT  400D - Trail riding

YZ250 H - Racing
Norton ES2 500 trials

They were good, I may have been a bit drunk 😂
Midge was dancing with tears in his eyes.
Haircut 100 dude wore his favourite shirt.
Marc Almond trotted out all his covers.
Sister Sledge sang all Nile Rogers genius, they we we my faves.
OMD opened with Enola Gay,  as we left, couldn't remember anything else by them.
Grand day out boozing and dancing in the sunshine. 😊😊
