Lucky I kept a braided line I had for an XR400. That is still one of my favourite bikes. Hopefully that line should fit.

Cheers Muzz, the tank and seat cover look great.

Hey Mark which pipe have you been running on your 200? I want to preserve the stock pipe as it is in good nick. I?m regretting not getting another pipe for my 175, the stock one is getting beat up.

Thanks

I was using a DG but now I have a GMC.

How do they compare to each other and to the stocker in power characteristics ?

I put the stock exhaust system away for safe keeping and run DG expansion chamber and silencer. Bike runs great. Faster without the baffles etc the stock system has (mine is a US bike)

Possibly should go up one size on the main. Carb settings still stock, need some expertise to help me out with the fine tuning.

Cheers

I think I will end up with a GMC at this stage unless I see a 2nd hand DG in good nick.

Your DG pipe Julia, is running pretty close to your side cover.
My pipe fitted really badly, i had to tweak it considerably, you may want to "massage" yours a bit.

Cheers,
Steve.

Yes it is not perfect- there is a number of washers to space the side cover out from the pipe and exhaust. Also heat tape applied in strategic places.
More shed time..

Success, I started it up yesterday. It?s running great and started easy. Now  I need to give everything a once over tidy up the electrics and it will be out for a test ride.
