MX80 Fork Disassembly
« on: May 23, 2018, 02:40:05 PM »
Proving a bit harder than I would have thought. Any Tricks? Not the same as a GT80. Do I just hammer the slider off the fork tube?

I’ve no idea what forks the MX 80 has, a bit more info might help before you set to with the Birmingham screwdriver!

Got them apart. Held the tube in a vice and then heated the boss surrounding the seal and then hit a rod that I placed through the axle bush and they eventually came apart. I studied the exploded parts view I found at CMSNL.
