I haven't seen this thread before but it sure has edumacated me.  I've never in my life seen people put forks on backwards and until now would of laughed it off but .. ummm .. yep there sure is some bright cookies in the gene pool  ::)

And this thing ... where do you start.  It looks like a BMW donk to me (well it looks like a parallel twin to me) so I really like how they've taken the BMW hand/grip warmers a step further by curling the exhaust pipe upwards so it "warms" your whole arm  ;D

Time to freshen-up this topic :

I like this quote from the listing :

Quote
Welcome to the sale of a Yamaha YZ100 - 1982.  I brought this bike as a project 6 years ago and have rebuilt the bike from scratch, with no expense spared!!

budget didn't stretch to a seat cover, a stator cover or any sidecovers.... musta been the new frame that was all the expense.

Settle down Rosie. With the level of detail here, it wont be going anywhere under it's own steam any time soon.

Question,
how much of other model Yamaha's parts interchange with a YZ100? Their "not that common-ness" has me interested.

I did see an IT200 engine in a YZ125J frame recently which caught my attention too........

I don't own any DT's!
