Please be advised that this years event will NOT be held on the 15th and 16th September 2018. We are looking at a date in June to hold this years event. Confirmation on the new date will be posted soon.
No rush, there's plenty of time. Do it next week, what could have been done today.

It will be either the Bell moto Flex9 or the 6D ATR -2 , and leaning towards the 6D cos brain-saving is their major objective . Yes it will take me 11 months to save for it ! 😉

Unfortunately guys we have to anounce that next weekends Cookardinia Vinduro has been cancelled. Due to an unexpected death in Murrays family the decision has been made to not go ahead with the event. However we are looking at rescheduling the event later in October with a tentative date Saturday 13th. This weekend will also coincide with the Holbrook Motorcycling Sports Clubs 40 year celebrations. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and look forward to seeing you all in October.
Regards Brooksie.

my era correct tow car is still currently unregistered.. on axle stands in primer lol.

the 465 hasn't fired a shot since last year.. so that should be fine.

the latest purchase.. an unspeakable "mystery bike" needs an air cleaner to be ready. head shakes will surely ensue when I front with this one.

catch you all there!

I'm prety sure to be a no show this year due to family clash 😞 I wouldn't have had many exciting things to show off anyhow.

That explains why I haven't received an entry from you Don. Maybe next year.

Only 2 weeks to go but there's still time to get your entry in for the 2018 COOKARDINIA VINDURO. Here's some pics from today's working bee. The loop is coming together great with some wide open areas to open up those big bores as well as some technical sections in between and as usual there will also be a winding grass track section.

A big thankyou to Troy Shipard Ben Jones, Debbie Jones and all the other fellas (sorry I've forgotten all your names) that came out to the property to mark out the loop for this years event.
In a nutshell it's an awesome loop. The beauty of this property "Bendemere" is that it is one of the very few tracks on the NSW Vinduro calender that caters for big and small bore motorcycles. There is the wooded section which is free flowing yet still has a few hidden gems like logs, cut backs and those truck tyres. Once you've conquered this section you then head out to explore the rest of the property which is fast and open. This is where the big bores are really in their element.
We've also added in some creek beds to navigate and a grass track just for good measure.
For those who are regulars you know what to expect and for those new to the Vinduro scene, we welcome you to the event. You're in for a great weekend.
Keep those entries coming in. You can email me at wbrooks7@telstra.com

Cheers Brooksie.

a massive thankyou again to everyone who makes this event the great even that is is,

amazingly layed out track with parts that suits everyones wants, creeks snotty hills with trees.. open big bore country a neat grass track.

spectacular scenery as a backdrop, great people who attended and made it happen.

just amazing.

this year I only took one gratuitous pic of my own bike, too busy taking in the whole thing to get any more.

cheers! the 465 has been the go to bike for a few years now.. as in I go to the shed, take the stuff off it that's been sitting on it.. strap it to the trailer.. fuel it.

ridden hard(ish) and put away wet.. drag it out in a year.

it bit me on my ar_e this time though.. fuel o-ring in the tap.. simple enough fix and the first time I've laid a spanner on it in years.

getting a clean up and sort out soon though, few "fix it later" things need to be done.

Image hosting has been been a pain since photobucket went to crap, it is just getting too time consuming to share pics these days.

Make the photos into a Google Photos album, then click on the 'share' feature. PM me with the link and I'll host them and post them on the forum.
