Bugger about the kickstart, probably just a broken spring.  But have a good look at the splined section when you pull It out.  If it shows signs of twisting it is probably going to break sometime soon.... I believe you can fit the kick start mechanism from later models such as the WR500 but I have not investigated it fully at this stage.

Yes the CDI is from Bill in the states. He has a post in the forum with a link to his website.

I may order one for my IT200 if the NZ dollar ever recovers from our new government's antics....

Cheers,
Chris

I think youre better off going through Bills website as he has to adjust the ebay price to cover the ebay fees.

Yes that's the one. But use his web site to order ( http://dynotronix.com/index.html)  I messaged Bill also and he kept me informed as to progress with postage etc.

Cheers, Chris

Got a mate who nicasil plated an IT250J cylinder. Seemed to work OK, but unfortunately he had to sell the bike for other reasons.

They can do significant amount of thickness and bring it back to factory with a really hard surface.

I believe that new bike owner has registered here as he has posted a couple of times. Would love to hear how it is going.

I also plated an IT200 cylinder at the same time and need to extract the digit to have it ready for Harrow. Cylinder is still sitting on the shelf...
