Melted Sidecover
« on: September 24, 2017, 05:29:49 PM »
So the nice new DC plastics sidecover on my 465 has melted on the first real race day since I bought the bike.
Obviously Im up for a new sidecover to replace the one I have, bit disapointed that this has happened.
The bike has a DG pipe and muffler.
Whats the best way to prevent this happening again?
- Use some spacers between the plastic and frame?
- Fit the rubber bumpers from the original plastics onto the sidecovers? (I assume these hold them off from the pipe?)

Any other suggestions?
