An update:
The travel limiters made from the kitchen chopping board have totally disintegrated.
So I have increased the length of the shock by 5 turns to raise the rear of the bike to compensate.

Another update. Works Performance are no longer trading.

Also I had lost all damping in the first third of the shock travel.
Let a little bit of air from the canister and there was oil in it.
So I took it to Dave at Dirt Works in Canberra and he took the canister apart and the O-Ring was undersized.
A new O-Ring and fresh oil and a regas and it was better than ever at last weekends Tallarook Vinduro.

Have you done anything about the front yet, Ive just bought a pair of valve emulators but haven’t fitted them yet .... stanchions need rechroming first.

Mine goes up and down, would just like a bit more damping!

That's good news Mark.

I may get a seal set to keep as a spare.

Cheers,

Dave.

New IT owner chiming in from Canada ehh.

Wondering if you could provide the specs for the shock you had made as I'd like to get one made for an IT175F basket case I just acquired.

The shock was made with 5" stroke to give 10" rear wheel travel on the IT125.
You would need replace the forks to increase the fork travel to match.

On my IT175F I use a YZ250/400D shock with the optional softer spring.
The forks and triples are 38mm YZ250/400E. Oil level is 1cm higher.
The suspension feels perfect for my 78kg weight.
