Lubrication by YCLC system
« on: December 21, 2016, 11:36:03 PM »
The DT Lnza 230 is equipped with a lubrication by YCLC system in replacement of the former AUTOOLUBE

YCLS = Yamaha computer controlled lubrication system

"The lubrication system YAMAHA computer controlled (YCLS), depending on the speed of the engine with the help of an electronic control unit and a valve control of three-way"

See DT230 pump with 3-way control valve

The autolube was an entirely mechanical system, the YCLS is a mix of mechanics and electronics

-the pump is always driven by the crankshaft (pinion)

-cable for the position of the accelerator but a TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) sensor on the carburetor?

-Flow is more regulated by the pump but by a valve controlled by the CDI

Do you have information about this system... reliability ?

Hello there and welcome. The same line of thought has been used on the TZR 3XV9. I've never had one, but you can get more on the system by reading here: I don't know if you have to register to read!
