GT50 N SIDECAR 1978??
« on: October 16, 2016, 10:47:25 PM »
you might be interested in these old pics from 1978 or there abouts, bought it from up the road, the owner bought it new for his son who left for the navy, on one of his return visit l grab it for $50.00, it was mint, blinkers and all worked, when l was leaving to go work interstate l decided to make a sidecar for my older brothers kids to learn on and remove sidecar later, but it was that much fun it's still attached today, but sadly laying neglected in the back of a farmers shed, should buy it back for resto. hhhmmmm.

the 3rd wheel is from an Australian made Tassone Weeder (sort of a plough), the chrome guard is a Z1 900 1973 front guard cut down as it was removed from my bike damaged, the seat is from an International Harvester tractor, sidecar was removable.

painted  up a matching helmet for  them, safety first.

that's me terrorizing some poor kid

the young fella soon got the hang of it

l don't look to happy here

up and coming speedway sidecar rider, he actually went on to be a B grade motocrosser before giving it away after big big stack
