While I should appreciate the DAD's bike more, I find kids on bikes an irresistible notion, so I thank you for sharing the kids on bike pics Chris. I can't believe I missed a PW80 sold for 150euros this past winter. I was about 7 minutes late. I called the seller and the phone was busy. When he hung up, he informed me that the bike was sold on the guy before me! Hopefully something will turn up this winter before eldest daughter turns 4. She is already late!

   Cheers, Fanis

I'm "restoring" a 1983 now. Up to $575 now with a lot of chinese parts. My cousin's uncle wants it to go through a third generation of kids.... two was obviously enough for the poor bike.. zero maintenance... the crank seal on the flywheel side fell out.... sentimental builds are hard on the wallet

Lucky the parts are available and cheap...should be good for a few generations yet.

I foolishly sold the first PW (that the boys are pictured on)  but was able to acquire another good one recently for my daughter, at a good price.

Keeping the QR50 that I bought for Lily when she was younger, it is in really nice condition for its age.
Will be just right for the grand kids.....hint, hint Jim and Carl.... ;) ;) ;D

Cheers Steady
