YZ 125 G
« on: May 08, 2016, 11:38:53 AM »
I haven't seen enough photos lately so I pulled this out of the shed and took it for a spin.

I got the bike as a basket case, red frame, white brittle plastics, no seat, no head or rear wheel. Cylinder was good and I had been hoarding G, H and IT parts so I had enough to get her running.

I blasted the frame and made it black so I can white or yellow. Right now I am liking yellow. Thanks Woody for the motivation.

I know that it true to the parts list but I don't mind the RM funders. It is a nice little bike and very reliable with a good tight engine. One day I will get round to sending the not so shiny bits to the platers and get a new seat cover but for now it is good.

And the other side..... needs a chain block.

And from the front..... Real mud

Great work Rod. Nice to see one being used. I see you've been busy with a H too. You can still get yellow and white fenders from Yamaha but only the wider 250 rear one.
