The YZ100 took a back seat to a 81 IT175 I acquired.  I am going to return to getting this bike running shortly.  I have the IT175 forks and triple clamps fitted with the rear shock extension.  Exploring the possibility of swapping the spring out for a late 70s DT175.

So - update to this.  I acquired a 1981 MX175 shock absorber unit and installed Dave's extension on it.  Bolted right in and feels much firmer.  Best part $25 on eBay.

I have a YZ125X spring in the IT125 this year and it is much better.
