not all markets had all year models.. so of a UK seller says all models it would be correct from their point of view.

DT175 D>H are the same.. 1985 onwards are a different engine totally.

the wossner piston is the way to go, or an OEM one but they're the same price. I've also run pro-x pistons without hassle too.

where did you source your pistons from?

Whale Oil Beef Hooked (thanks Chris) the fins on the fleaby barrel run vertically.

Must be a new cooling design for updraft cooling or it provides so much of a power boost, you're on the rear wheel all the time and it is more efficient that way.

Pretty sure I posted some yambits links in your other thread for the aussie style piston and barrel Tim.

Vertical fins for horizontal cylinders.....reasonably sure only 90cc and under revert to this style....

Cheers,
Chris.

Just install as is, the vibration will rearrange the fins.

That's why they make that rattling sound-it happens if the fins haven't fully seated.

It turns out that my local dealer was the only one who was able to source the bits I need for me.
Go figure

I'm glad you got standard barrel and pistons and didn't get the eBay set I posted up.

I bought one this week and they sent out the piston from an AG175, when I contacted them the just said the piston will suit a DT175, despite it being a different shape.

I don't know any model of ag175 that has anything useable in a 1ej engine. I'd be wanting my money back.. That's bullshit.
