Partzilla lists it like this

1974 DT250A FUEL TANK
1974 DT360A FUEL TANK
1975 DT250B FUEL TANK 250B - C - 400B - C
1975 DT400B FUEL TANK 250B - C - 400B - C
1976 DT250C FUEL TANK 250B - C - 400B - C
1976 DT400C FUEL TANK 250B - C - 400B - C

Not sure if a YZ will fit but they look similar?   Can you seal yours in the meantime?

Run a sealer through it. like POR15 or similar. Save a few bucks and guaranteed fit.

Clean out inside eg rattle around an old chain with kero, Clean and solder holes, use a good in -line filter ?
Worked for my abused 175.

My 175 was bad. I put some blue gravel and two stroke oil in it and put in the clothes drier with some pillows and turn on. Works great. I seen it on this site somewhere.

Cheers scott

I have cleaned out six steel tanks in the last 5 years....some were good, some were bad!

I buy a bottle of rust remover from Supercheap auto for about $12-15, pour half in and a couple pounds of nails, nuts, small bolts etc. Seal up the tap and cap with masking tape and shake it about...let rest....shake about.....do this quite a few times over a week and you'll be pleasantly surprised at the results. All my tanks are now good to go, only one failed the "I can see through it" test....it's now just an ornament to 1975.

I'll probably get some Caswell's liner one day and resurrect that see-through tank.

Cheers,
Chris.

PS: I couldn't think of the name of the nails I use when typing.... ::) They are Clouts....galvanised 1" flatheads...I have a bucket full of 'em!  ;D
