having spent godly amounts of $$$$ to get my IT200 YZ490 and WR500 back in the dirt.......I have used boats.net and S&S very often.....have no complaints about service from either one.....i have learned not to expect anything from boats particularly fast ...........but i feel for your shipping to OZ as I found a o-ring i need on ebay from OZ...........5$ for the ring and 15$ for shipping ...........WTF ?

Pretty sure there is a mandatory minimum fee for a "package" ....as opposed to a personal letter, which would have sufficed for an O-ring.

I made a similar mistake myself when selling parts I make, I was sent down (the length of our country) a replica in an envelope for bugger all...when I quoted prices of same item for sale, I added that figure for postage...hehe...not so, I was stung another $7 for putting them in a padded envelope...thereby becoming a "package".

Sneaky buggers our posties...they recommend the padded bags for safety etc....

Cheers,
Chris.

Discovered something today about partzilla and I guess, boatsnet. A few times I have ordered from partzilla the order has been delayed as parts had to be sourced from the OEM....this delays the whole order. You don't know about this of course until "into" the order process...obviously you only order parts if they say they are available.

But today I took a hunch and googled the number of an available part...this threw up all the sellers like partzilla...and of course the ebay listings.

This particular item has been delisted because of availability, I think bowing to ebay's strict rules about such matters.....

Having been held up with orders I think I may check partzilla's ebay store....seeing as there's in excess of 22k listings.

Cheers,
Chris.

Hey Chris, When I'm looking for a hard to get part i go to google images and enter part number, click on image of what you want then click visit page.
I did this with that part your looking for and looks like this place has them for sale in the US, delivery is only about $10

 8)  Yep, I do the same for non available parts...that's how I found a couple of low-brow NOS sellers. But my point with partzilla etc is ordering bulk parts to save plenty and then have your order held up for months and cross checking with their ebay store maybe a way to find out and not order those parts at all....from them at least.

Cheers,
Chris.
