I would say what an OH&S disaster
No belt covers no cover plates
But each to their own

Thanks for your social concerns. Sadly these days in the UK we no longer use children to operate unguarded weaving looms and steam hammers.
Good times.

I only took video of it running without guards for educational purposes.

Ok, more dangerous and offensive work related video stuff:



Note guarding propped shut with a token piece of 20mm galvanised electrical conduit.

We run normal production like this whilst malnourished pixies sing 'Rule Britannia' continually during the daily routine. The noise from a hammer compacting press is quite loud so the pixies are regularly thrashed to calibrate their voices to suit our deaf ears.

European standard guarding is available to fit this machine but we just tossed it in the dumpster because no-one cares.

Oh, and the concrete mix was way too dry after a major machine refurb and that's why it's hammering for waaay too long. The normal hammering time is about 4 seconds.
